Great stuff, I appreciate the power that goals can give to a vision being fulfilled. I think vision or having a basic idea of what you want your life, business, or relationships to look is key and then having goals that fit in the scope of that is how to get there. It takes a lot of conscious effort at first, probably more than most people realise, but once we see the power of the process its easy.

Goals give you direction in all areas of your life Personal, Career, Spiritual, Material, and Contribution. Goals give you a purpose in life. . I totally agree with Diana Scharf Hunt who says “Goals are dreams with deadlines”. So, set your goals and start working on the ways to achieve them. Your goal can be as basic as to learn driving or losing body weight.

my oppinion of true success is this “you can only measure a persons success by the positive impact that they have on the world around them, and how there good works enrich the lives of others for generations to come.” doing these for the betterment of society quietly so as to not become pridefull and self rightious is the wellspring that success thrives upon.

Success to me is peace from within regardless of your circumstances, lifestyle or pocket book. How did I come to this definition? Well, through introspection of life and having the circumstances of life constantly thrown at you, I have found it difficult to ever feel like I have achieved everything I want to achieve. I wonder if it is possible to ever reach each and ever goal that is set. So to me, success is being peaceful no matter where you are in life. That does not mean to say that you shouldn’t have goals and that you shouldn’t work towards them. It means that while you are working towards those goals, you are thankful for every little step along the way and realize that even if those goals aren’t reached, you are still successful.

I’ll get it started.

Success is measured progress toward an intentional desire.

I’ve come to adopting this definition upon realising that just trying to be better, or better than the next guy, leaves a feeling of constant striving, and never achieving.

I achieve everyday I make measured progress and with each passing day I build momentum, cause I’m always getting results.

Success, like in pool, comes down to calling your shot, everything else is just slop! (thats mine)

So how do I call my shots? I set goals.

So success is measured progress toward goals I’ve set,on purpose!
